Simon Krokhmal, Yahoo

Simon Krokhmal is a seasoned entrepreneur with a solid technological background specializing in mobile, social media and large scale systems with over 10 years of experience. Simon founded an international staff augmentation company, Drift-Tech Innovation, which grew into a leading staff augmentation provider for start-ups in Israel. Over the last 2 years, Simon was an entrepreneurs network fellow at the Blackstone group, conducting due diligence across multiple sectors and working with portfolio companies on go to market strategy. Simon’s unique experience and interest in technology led him to work at Yahoo! where he sources technology start-ups for the personalization and cloud platforms group.

Simon earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina, Kenan Flagler School of Business where he focused on strategy, entrepreneurship, and early stage tech investing. While in business school, he and his team won the 3rd place in the International Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC). Prior to pursuing his MBA at Kenan-Flagler, he was the co-founder and CTO of Penta-ID, a second factor authentication security token for the mass market, and a co-founder of Affilinight LTD, an Affiliate network for the nightlife industry.
