Sarah M. Ham is an Associate at DBL Investors, a venture capital firm located in San Francisco whose goal is to combine top-tier financial returns with meaningful social, economic and environmental returns in regions and sectors in which it invests. She has been an investment professional with the firm since 2011. In this role she sources investment opportunities, conducts investment due diligence, structures investments, advises portfolio company management and helps companies implement Double Bottom Line practices and programs. Sarah was a Summer Associate with the firm in 2010. Sarah currently serves as a board observer on DBL portfolio companies, Ecologic Brands, EcoScraps and RallyPoint, and works closely with Wholeshare. Previously, she consulted with the World Bank on its online marketing strategy. Prior to the World Bank, she was a Program Manager at a marketing and sales consulting firm, MarketBridge, where she designed and implemented marketing and sales programs for Fortune 100 technology and financial services companies. Prior to MarketBridge, Sarah was the finance director of a congressional campaign in Wisconsin and began her career at MGM Studios in sales and distribution. Sarah is a member of the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) Investor Advisory Board and the SXSW Eco Startup Central Advisory Board. She is also a court appointed special advocate (CASA) for a San Francisco County foster child as part of the SF CASA program and also serves on the organization’s Guild. Sarah received her BA in International Relations and East Asian Studies from Stanford University and MBA from the Yale School of Management.
