I have been actively involved in assisting firms at various stages of the growth cycle for my entire professional career, reveling in the challenges of change management. I look forward to continuing my pursuit of these challenges in my next endeavor.
Initially hired as an intern at Lookout Capital, I rapidly grew to being responsible for all due diligence and post-deal management on core deals. I evaluated hundreds of opportunities and led deep due diligence on seven companies across various industries, four of which became investments. For our portfolio companies I provided hands on assistance in a variety of roles as needed, in addition to strategic guidance and resource sourcing.
During my MBA at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, I was an acknowledged leader. I served on the MBA Student Association Executive Board and received multiple awards recognizing my contribution including the Core Value Award for Integrity at graduation.
Prior to my MBA, I worked as a land surveyor for 11 years in Boston, MA and Durham, NC, after attending university in Australia.
Outside of work, I am deeply involved with ChildCare Matters, a non-profit daycare providing income based scholarships. I also cook barbecue reasonably, ski quite well and golf very badly.
