Paul Jaques is the Director of Student & Community Engagement at Spartan Innovations. In this role, Paul works with students at MSU to take their ideas from the very beginning stage and eventually out to market. He runs the MSU student incubator called The MSU Hatch along with an Accelerator called Conquer. He has developed and launched a 3 step process that includes Discovery, Validation, and Launch for the student teams to go through. Paul is also one of the Gatekeepers for the newly formed Red Cedar Fund that is a $5 Million investment wing of the MSU Foundation
Paul is also the CEO of a recruiting firm named WeConnectTalent, COO of SPC Innovations which created Spray and Play, a semi-permanent adhesive for plastic brick toys, member of the Altruis investment fund, and has just written a children’s book named Best Friend Dad.
Prior to Spartan Innovations, Paul was the Associate Director of Business and Career Engagement for MSU Career Services.
He is the co-creator of Art Alley, NeoCenter, YSG, and the Hatching. Paul got is Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/PR from Grand Valley State University and his Master’s Degree Public Relations at Michigan State University.
