VCIC Teams,

We are excited to be hosting you for this week’s VCIC Regional Finals! The event will begin in Zoom Room {linked} at 8:30AM on {Friday/Saturday}. Be on the lookout for an email from me at exactly 5PM {Wednesday/Thursday} with links to three startup pitch decks. Prior to receiving the decks, every student participant must consent to the VCIC non-disclosure agreement. Please do that now.

Also, please be aware that you cannot have ANY help during the event, including from any coaches or advisors who attend the event. Your team must work entirely independently from 8:30AM to 4:00PM on {Friday/Saturday}. You may seek coaching and advice prior to the event, but per the NDA, you cannot share the pitch decks nor any proprietary information from those decks.

Game on! We are looking forward to seeing you this {Friday/Saturday} at 8:30AM {include time zone, e.g., EST, CST, MST, PST} in our Main VCIC Zoom Room {linked}. Before proceeding, please note the following key rules:

  1. No sharing pitch decks with anyone! (And you must all consent to the VCIC NDA.
  2. No help during the event. Starting at 8:30AM on the day of the event, you may not have any contact with any person not on the team, including any coaches or advisors. Your team must work entirely independently during the competition. See rules.

We’re excited to see you in the morning. We’ll open the breakout rooms for teams to get settled at 8:15AM. The event will kick off at 8:30AM {include time zone, e.g., EST, CST, MST, PST} in our Main VCIC Zoom Room {linked}.

Prior to tomorrow’s festivities, please:

  1. Remember we’re using code names. Make sure you do not show your school affiliation during the event.
  2. Please go into your profile on your Zoom account and add your team name to your Zoom profile, for example, “Oak – Jane Doe.”
  3. If you want to get fancy,  your team might consider a virtual background that you all use during the event.
  4. Remember, zero help from anyone tomorrow during the event, including advisors. Your team must work entirely independently.
