VCIC Alum comes back to pitch, then raises $6.25M.
Matt Williamson competed with his UNC Kenan-Flagler team several years before founding Windsor Circle. Just months after pitching at the 2014 Silicon Valley Regional Finals in early February, Matt raised $6.25M for his automated platform for retailers.
Matt is CEO and a co-founder of Windsor Circle. Prior to founding Windsor Circle, he spent five years as VP of Sales for Bronto Software, helping to grow it from 10 people to over 100. and held strategic and leadership roles at SAS, edocs, and Network Software Associates.
Matt is a double Tar Heel, with a BA and MBA with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Matt is passionate about people, entrepreneurship, and breaking the poverty cycle locally and globally through housing and education initiatives. Matt loves to “chef it up” for groups large and small (equatorial cuisine is his thing), loves scuba diving (170+ dives), and has travelled to 35 countries on 5 continents.
