Lindsey Jensen is a leader in entrepreneurial finance, with prominent roles in seed-round startups through multinational corporations. In her current position, she is the Head of Finance at Samantha Brands Group (SBG), with prior experience leading teams at both Patagonia and Whitewave Foods.
An early member of the fund, SBG is a control stake investor in early-stage, burgeoning consumer brands. She takes on a multi-faceted role not only controlling finance for SBG, but scaling finance and operations for the invested portfolio companies, as well, to accelerate their growth. Currently, SBG has invested in three companies, including Tres Latin Foods and WildMade Snacks, growing, 65% and 100% year-over-year.
Prior to Leeds, Lindsey started the National Accounts team at Patagonia, which combined both sales, operations, and support functions for the first time to focus on and grow key accounts. After Leeds, Lindsey combined her inclination for sales and operations with finance at Whitewave Foods where she managed the Silk Brand P&L and Silk Innovation Finance.
Lindsey received her BBA from the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and her her MBA in Finance from Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado at Boulder. While at Leeds, Lindsey was a member of the 2012 VCIC Global Championship team, Treasurer of Net Impact, research assistant to the Getches Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law, and acted as a certification consultant for B-Corp.
