John is a member of the Texas McCombs MBA Class of 2021 concentrating in entrepreneurship and venture capital. In addition to serving as Vice President of Placement for Venture Fellows, he is the President of the McComb’s Entrepreneurship Society. He is a Comerica Bank – Texas Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Entrepreneurship recipient.

While in school, John currently runs Empire Learning, an online continuing education school for real estate professionals. He previously was the Director of Accounts of Austin-based grocery technology startup Popspots. He has additionally founded and led companies in the ticket sales and apparel industries, as well as worked at J.P. Morgan in the Private Bank.
