John Onopchenko, Synergy Life Science Partners

Prior to co-founding Synergy, John was Vice President and lead medical device investor with Johnson & Johnson’s venture capital subsidiary, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation. Over the last 25 years, John has progressively increased his management responsibilities through the development of six new-to-the world technologies including surgical stapling, endoscopic surgical devices, surgical lasers, magnetic resonance imaging/spectroscopy and gas plasma sterilization. John received his MBA from the University of Chicago and completed the Advanced Management Program at Oxford.
