2019-2020 VCIC Fellow and Global Coordinator

Joe Darcy is a 2nd year MBA candidate at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, pursuing venture capital. While in business school he has held positions at IDEA Fund Partners, Lewis & Clark Ventures, and Techstars. Prior to business school he spent seven years in New York working in financial services. Most recently, he was at Roundtable Investment Partners, a multifamily office, serving as a primary client contact for investor relations, planning, and business development activities.

At Kenan-Flagler Joe has fully immersed himself in  the entrepreneurial ecosystem, serving as president of the Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club, conducting research on venture fundraising as a Kenan Scholar, and spearheading the organizing of multiple VCIC events.  He also was a key contributor to this year’s Careers with Impact Forum, securing Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry’s as the conference’s keynote speaker. In his spare time, he is an avid hockey player, serving at President of the Kenan-Flagler Hockey Club.

Joe is a 2011 graduate of College of the Holy Cross, where he received a B.A in Economics with a German minor. While at Holy Cross, he was president of the Club Hockey team, a member of the Delta Phi Alpha German Honor Society, and a Resident Assistant.
