Rosen joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in February 2015 after spending the prior 10-years with Intersouth Partners. His team is responsible for venture capital investing to support programs of strategic importance to the foundation, with a special focus on biotechnology as it pertains to the foundation’s Global Health efforts. Before joining Intersouth, Rosen spent 15 years in clinical, research and financial positions in global health, health care and biotechnology. On his 2011 Eisenhower Fellowship, Rosen studied the emerging regulatory and commercialization paradigm in Asia as it applies to the development of products in the life sciences in China, Singapore and Malaysia. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and is President-elect of its Public Health Foundation Board.
