Travel Preferences

Each Fellow will be assigned to two regions, at least one of them a top choice. Below you may mark up to 3 as top choices. Please make sure you are available on the dates you mark. If you become unavailable, you will likely have to drop the course.

We have a budget to offer travel grants to some Fellows. All grants are partial: if awarded, a grant is meant to cover a low-cost economy flight booked well in advance, not hotels, meals or ground transportation. Grants rarely exceed $400. The cheapest fares often mean early-morning or late-night flights, so please look up flight and hotel costs for the events you mark now, so nothing surprises you later. We cannot fund travel outside North America.

Those international events are some of the best learning in the program: you see venture capital in a different ecosystem, with investors, startups and students you would not meet otherwise. If you can self-fund or secure club backing, we encourage you to consider one.

For each event, check how you would cover travel, or Not available.

Anything that can help with regional assignments. If you have a particularly strong #1 choice, tell us which and why.

Our goal is to send two VCIC Fellows to each region. Is there someone you would prefer to travel with?

Other applicants you believe would be a good fit for the VCIC Fellows program.
