Felipe Echandi is a dual Costa Rican-Panamanian citizen. He obtained his law degree from the University of Costa Rica. As an Associate at Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega in Panama, he participated in the strutting of several securities offerings and complex financial transactions with national and international impact. He eventually joined Coinapult, a Bitcoin payment processing and hedging start-up, as General Counsel, where he successfully mitigated various legal risks faced by the company, supported a seed funding round, and drafted a first-of-its-kind Bitcoin hedging agreement. He is now a first year MBA student at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
