It is not news that the venture capital industry is woefully lacking in diversity. Since VCIC’s inception in 1998, we have been bringing the world of venture capital to a much broader audience. VCIC teams throughout the years have been demonstrably more diverse than the industry as a whole. This has been accelerated in recent years by the growth of our undergraduate events, expanding the exposure beyond graduate business schools.
Fostering Diversity
Each year, over 1,000 students from 140 graduate and undergraduate programs will immerse in venture capital at a VCIC event. This is an industry that is otherwise inaccessible to many of these students. Please help us bring venture capital to this diverse community.
How You Can Help
Join us at one of our events to help teach and connect our diverse students AND to take note of the breadth and depth of the talent. Or nominate someone who you think would be a good addition. Who makes the best fit?
An easy way to help: like our Linkedin and Twitter posts.
