Mr. Long is currently a second-year MBA student at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School. He has a dual concentration in Corporate Finance & Entrepreneurship. He is involved in the following clubs and organizations: Venture Capital Fellow, Alliance for Minority Business Students, Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, and Finance Club. His interests include venture capital, financial mentorship for minority students, and economic development of low-income communities.

Mr. Long graduated from Wake Forest University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Analytical Finance. In 2008, he then accepted a position into Branch Banking & Trust’s (BB&T) Leadership Development Program. Mr. Long left the company in June 2013 as an Associate and Assistant Vice President in BB&T Syndicated Finance group. In the summer of 2014, he interned with the Kenan Institute and Jacobs Capital LLC. After graduation from UNC Kenan-Flagler, Mr. Long will be working as a financial consultant with KPMG in New York.
