Judge, 2014 Global Finals

In addition to being the Director of Engineering at Cisco Systems, Bill directs much of his efforts
into inspiring and retaining world-class global engineering teams through his solid leadership and
coaching. His career at Cisco is approaching sixteen years, in which he has accomplished
numerous impressive feats. Some of these include earning six promotions in thirteen years,
ranking in the top 25% performers company-wide, gaining international experience with EMEA
and South America, and earning a reputation as a Change Agent. Recently, he has spent much
of his time overseeing large-scale, multimillion-dollar technical projects for programs such as HCS, Smart Connected Cities, Unified Access, Cisco Secured Campus, and MPC. Bill earned a degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
