In 2015, Amir Kabir participated on the Georgetown team, ultimately winning the competition and receiving the title of Global Champion. Lucky for him, judge of the event and VCIC alum of the Wharton 2012 team, Peter Gajdos, had a need to hire for his current firm, Presidio Partners. Due to Amir's strong performance, Peter approached him and started discussion, ultimately extended an offer. Amir later accepted and currently still works at Presidio in San Francisco as a consultant. When asked to comment on his VCIC experience Amir said, 'The VCIC competition allowed me to position myself with potential VC’s by highlighting my skills, knowledge and passion for the industry.'
